| My cousin Linda is getting married in May next year. The colors of her wedding will be pink and brown. My question is, how much will a wedding cake such as the ones below cost? She is a currently attending nursing school, so she has a budget. If you can find anything like these with a lower cost, that would be great! Thanks!http://weddingsbylydia.com/sitebuild...US208%26sa%3DN

| I like the all white one with pink pokla dots on one layer and brown on the next and so on and on. It is actually very classy but very colorful and doesnt look like it should be for a birthday party like the other ones did.

| Honestly, this depends on who you get to make it. General rule of thumb is that complicated cakes (like cake 2) tend to be more expensive than cakes with more basic decorations. The cheapest way to do a cake is to find a retired person who decorates cakes as a hobby and ask to see their picture book. I found a lady that will do my 4-tier cake for 200 people for $250. We found her through an older guy my fiance works with. Realize that you will have to sacrifice some of the fancier cake flavors and fillings, as well as some of the more ornate cake designs, but it will save major money in the long run.
