| First, look online to maybe get a feel of what you might like, but it doesn't hurt to be open minded. Next, ask around and see which bridal shops in your area are the best and make an appointment to go try on dresses. Be sure that if your bring people don't bring more than 2 or 3. Hearing too many opinions won't let you actually pick a dress for YOURSELF. Also, bring a versatile bra (i.e. strapless) when you try on dresses because you don't want your straps to be showing. To help you out a bit, I have some dresses that I think you may enjoy:http://www.brides.com/fashion/dresse...186&offse t=9

| I had my mom make my wedding dress. I know not everyone has that option. Maybe find someone you know that sews a ton, and that would be willing to create a dress just for you. It's cheaper for one, and it would get you exactly what you want. Otherwise in IA where I'm from, David's Bridal is a popular store for dresses. They start their pricing at $99 and go up. Look in bridal magazines, online, just do a search engine. With today's technology there's endless possiblities. Best of luck!
