I refuse to live if I can't embrace my religion freely. I will die for another's right to do the same. We do all have free will, and in a democracy we have the right to freedom of religion. What need is there for you to take away that right?

Because free will isn't always such a great thing. I imagine, like me, you live in a developed western country with a democratically elected government. Is everything perfect there? No, same here.

There is absolutely no need for religion today if people were better informed about philosophy and science. Any good that religion has done can be equaled if we have a global population who has a good grasp of these subjects. In fact, I would go further to say that we can even out do the good that religion has done, when people begin to have a better understanding of philosophy and science. Furthermore, I think we can rectify the numerous wrongs done by religion if we apply scientific and philosophical principles. In the final analysis, our hope for a better world is found in a rational worldview, and not one of ancient superstition.

Islam: there is a current need for religion in today's society just as there is a current need for Government. When man no longer needs Government, then he will no longer need Religion. The Two Are One.Ordo Ab ChaoPeace
