| How reliable are IQ tests?Vot just took an online one, and Vot has to purchase the full report that explains how they got the final result (in their dreams is Vot going to part with any $$$ for that!!!)Anyways, I think I'd do better if had done the test in the afternoon when I'm more alert as opposed to doing it at midnight. So?

| It depends on the test and what it is claiming. The 4 people I know with IQs above 160 are Wiccan (2), Catholic and atheist.Like the IQ's predictive ability, the sample's skewed. All it predicts is score on an IQ test.

| I've seen some terrific posts here citing dozens of sources over 100 years that specify the inverse relationship between intelligence and religious beliefs. There are also some great web sites that outline it.Yet, there are still very many highly intelligent people who believe in magical deities.

| In my opinion, in regards to what religion someone will "follow," religion has no influence. I know Christians with high IQs, but I also know atheists -- not to mention that I'm certain there are Buddhists, Taoists, Pagans, agnostics, Jews, Catholics, etc. with high AND low IQs.Personally, I don't believe that online IQ tests are accurate. The first online one that I ever took, it claimed my score was 170. The most recent I took said 180.Can't be true. =/Unfortunately, online tests are all most people deal with. However, having it done by a professional is much more accurate: Just the same, it doesn't by any means define how "smart" someone is: instead, it hints at things like creativity, memory, ability to see connections between ideas, etc.As for paying for the online test score, don't do it, haha. A friend of mine did, and was so impressed by what they said about him, he put out a couple hundred for a professional evaluation. They basically told him the exact opposite of the online test review, lol.

| Not sure about iq - but education, there's some stats on the net somewhere that prove it, but you know I can't be bothered just google it. (that is the more educated the less likely to be religious)IQ tests are worthless, I took one...(the result wasn't bad, but just afterwards i heard they accepted a 2 yr old baby into mensa - i mean wtf - like I wanna hang about with 2 yr olds, it probably even scored better than me lol)
