| We played the quiet game a lot. "1-2-3- Quiet!" and whoever spoke first lost. I'm sure my parents loved that game! And whenever we wanted to go to McDonald's is just so happened that they were closed that day. I fell for this once but they kept my sister going with this one for a while! This wasn't practical, but my dad used to tell us that if we planted Cheerios we could grow a donut tree. Haha, all the neighborhood kids fell for that one, too!

| My Uncle would say if we lied our tongues would turn black. So whenever we said something, whether it was truth or not, he'd say, "Stick out your tongue," and scream in a sing songy voice, "It's black, it's black!" I hated that, it made me cry most of the time.

| They'd say I could choose if I wanted a sister or a pony. I could get one or the other. So I made out a plan already, where to put the pony, how to feed it and how often I could ride it, what to name it...Turned out they were lying since my mom was pregnant with a baby girl. I still wanted the pony, I just never got it.
