Of course. There would have to be some natural ability and it would need a daily commitment.

absolutely! hey there is this one girl in my class and she started at age 15 or 16. she has become really good and got to do a solo in our last ballet production that we performed a couple of months ago. you can do anything if you put your mind to it. don't let anyone tell you that you can't.

Of course! I started dance at the age of 11 and I'm already at one of the top levels for ballet, jazz, and lyrical. All you need to do is set your mind to it!Since you are starting later then everyone else you will really need to practice hard. Try to stretch yourself everyday for at least 30 minutes, and then do some ballet work for another 30 minutes. During class, make sure to pay attention and ask questions if you have any doubts. You will not go far if your not sure of what your teacher is teaching you. Good luck!

Yes! The chances of you becoming a professional are slim to none (simply because professional ballet dancers are "molded" from a very young age and require years of training before they are ready to enter the work force) but with hard work and lots of practice, you could become very fluent in ballet and it would open lots of doors to other genres of dance that you might not have felt comfortable doing before. Go for it!
