Default I have a question about divorce and remarriage in God's eyes?

Well i am getting a divorce from my husband cause all he ever did was bruise me and call me the worst names in the world. do you think God will forgive me for this seeing my situation? do you think he would allow me to be remarried and me still make it to heaven?

Yes the bible says not to divorce unless you must, and in your situation it could've been a matter of life and death. The bible also goes on to say that a woman should only remarry once.

If he supposedly forgives murder, he'll forgive you.

I am a strong believer in God and I believe that because it is not your fault or will that you are getting a divorce, it is a NEED and a necessity for your own health and safety. God created us all so we could live our lives for him but be happy as well. If you married him and he wasn't what god intended the marrige to be like then I don't think in any shape or form he would think down on you because of it. We are all gods children and make mistakes, and you happened to marry a man that wasn't living his life correctly through god.. but you are and I'm sure after this divorce you will find someone who deserves to be with you and treats you right. I think you are absolutley still on the path to heaven.god bless
