I was a nanny in Florida and it depends on your experience and where you live. In Miami I made about 250/week and in Tampa I made closer to 500/week. I was also a live in in Miami and a live out in Tampa, and in Tampa that was take home pay after taxes. You need to decide how many hours, and if you are going to do taxes or not. I would say between $8.00-12.00/hr depending on the baby sitter's experience and what you can afford. That is a competitive rate, the median pay for all of Florida is $10.00/hr according to a website I found for Nannies.
