i use nature's bounty vitamin tablets which recommends 3 tablets a day.but its total dosage of vitamin A is 5000 IU(adds to daily intake of this vitamin with food) .will that be excess dosage of vitamin A?How much is safe dosage for adult femalePS : excess vitamin A causes hair loss, now how much is excess?

Go to Nutrition Express and look on their Vitamin A and see what they reccomend. They are really up on all that and they have a great catalog and great prices too. Sounds like too much....it builds up in the body too. some do like D, but calcium is not so you have to really be aware of what you take....they tell you and have them all in a packet if you are really neding help.
