I was reading a study because my mom recently passed away from breast cancer only 10 weeks after diagnosed and this study I read said that people with graves disease have been linked to breast cancer something about the hormone levels that are changed and the synthroid taken actually helps the cancer grow.. I am wondering if anyone has heard of this ? My mom was diagnosed with graves about 15 or so years ago and had her thyroid removed and then the breast cancer. Thank you snow.. I wish mom's docs would have mentioned the risk and importance of the mammos to her.
