Default Do you think God has tried sending us cures for diseases?

I think that we would probably have a cure for alot of diseases like cancer if there were not abortions. Reports show over 4,000 abortions happen daily. Isn't it possible that alot of these fetuses if they were allowed to live could have been the ones to discover the cure for numerous conditions. Everyone wants to complain about sickness and disease and they don't even stop to think that God may have been trying to send us help for years but we keep killing babies!! Does anyone agree??

Absolutely, Makes me think of the man in the storm who prayed that God would save him. A police car came by but he said he had faith and that God would save him. The waters rose and forced him to the second floor and a boat came by. But he said he had faith that God would save him. The waters rose and he had to climb onto the roof. A helicopter came and tried to rscue him but he said he had faith that God would save him. He died. In heaven he asked God why He hadn't saved him. God said I sent a car a boat and a helicopter. Why did you not accept them. When we get to heaven will we see all the blessing God tried to give us that we refused?

I don't agree.[edit:] If your God was kind, he would send those cures regardless of how many abortions are preformed a day.

As far as I'm concerned, the 5 leading causes of death are all diseases, and if God (or anyone else) created a cure, then the world would be overpopulated.

Are you joking? People die from cancer = blame abortion. I mean, really, where are you going with this? We might as well blame women for using birth control because they have 1/3 the number of children they used to, reducing the potential number of medical researchers. I think you are jumping the gun. By the way, evolutionary theory is the underpinning of modern biology - and it helps with medicine. Do you deny that on the basis of the same deity? Just curious.

Ever heard of penicillin, vaccines, chemotherapy and radiation therapy for cancer? Ever heard of surgery? God works through human agencies to fight sickness.

think about all of the murders that happen daily, now think of all the ground-breaking discoveries in the field of cancer research made everyday. statistically speaking, its more likely we prevented more crime, than stifled discovery.

One of the seers (modern day prophets) I beleive from Medugorje, told us that Mary stated clearly what you are saying here. There was a child created to cure sickness and he was aborted.
