Do you think Big Brother asks people to write these letters or do the family members/boyfriends write them anyway in the hope they'l be read out? it looks to me (by the article) that the HM's have to put down 'contacts' before they enter the house(like next of kin). darnell said he put this friend down as his contact, i expect because his family live in another country he felt that he needed someone from the UK. so he only got a letter from a buddy darnell to win

I agree with Badwolf I think it is because Darnell put his friend's name down as contact. Maybe his family weren't asked to write to him because of that. It is so sad as he is such a nice guy and that letter would have meant everything to him.

his family doesnt approve of him do they? i dont think he told them and that they dont keep in contact.i think its a shame, he will be the only one.
