| Im actually in the process of writing a book about tofu and how to cook it. its quite extensive in recipes. the best way to cook is i feel, is, squeeze the excess water out of it. then in a large bowl crumble it into lots of bite sized pieces. put about 4 tablespoons of your favorite chicken seasoning in it (chicken seasonings are vegetarian!!!) and mix it with your hand.dice 3 tomatoes half a medium onion and 2 DEVAINED jalapeno peppers. saute the veggies in a skillet til soft. add the crumbled tofu.saute for a about 4 more minutes. Serve with a warm buttermilk biscuit.

| First I always prepare mine so it doesn't have that bland texture problem. Cut in 1/4" slices, drizzle with olive oil and soy sauce and bake 20-30 minutes at 400F. Store in fridge to use as needed.Cut in cubes and simmer in a prepared curry sauce or Thai simmer sauce.Cut in fine cubes and add to stir fry or a salad.Layer with sliced tomatoes and basil. Like the salad with buffalo cheese, but tofu replaces the cheese.Use as an ingredient in stew or gumbo.
