I have a recipe for Pickled Red Grapes that I really want to try. It calls for White WINE Vinegar. All I have at the time is Heinz Distilled White Vinegar. Can I use it instead of the Wine Vinegar? Will it make very much difference?ThanksLisa

wine vinegar is not as harsh as the white. Use a little less, and maybe add a little sugar to take the edge off the white. As far as the amount less, that's something you're just gonna have to wing. Good Luck!

no not much except the part of the fruity taste and yes you could do so unless somebody file you a suit for failing to use white wine vinegar
