| No because words from other people don't boost my self-esteem but how i picture myself in my mind does. How much you value yourself as a human being helps maintain a high/low self esteem. If you have high genuine levels of like and acceptance of yourself then bingo!! =]

| I usually maintain apretty high level of self esteem but there are times when I may feel a little discouraged either with my job or other little aggravating things of daily life and it does indeed help when people especially my loving wife tell me that everything's going to be alright. If it gets bad I always know that I can pray about it and rely on my faith that I'll be back again to normal soon.

| Well I kind of already answered this in a previous question, but to be honest, not anymore I don't. I have high self esteem these days. I am proud of myself and the woman who I have become. I sit back and think Wow Yadda, you are really something special. I have learned to give myself daily affirmations. I know I am Smart, strong, beautiful, funny, talented, I see the potential I have and the good news is now I use that potential. It is not sitting by the wayside going to waste. It is important to encourage yourself, if you wait around for humans to do it, you will be disappointed every time. They are only flesh. You have to push yourelf, love yourself and take care of yourself. With you and God working in your life, you are sure to go far. ♥≈ yaddajean ≈♥

| No, not really. It does help, but I don't rely on it. I have learned to accept and love the person that I am. There are days when I am really down and welcome encouragement and approval of others. On those days that is when I rely on it. I don't ask for it, it seems to just come my way. It's as if others know I am in need of it, seriously, I had a total stranger come up to me one day and tell me how beautiful I was and they went on and on about my smile and twinkling eyes. No, they weren't hitting on me. They were just being nice. I walked away after thanking them for the complement feeling a lot better.

| No because people are limited in their perception of me.My self esteem comes from God's love for me. I do enjoy relating with people who are kind and accepting. It is a blessing to love others and be loved in return. It feels good to be loved and treated good . God does send his love through people not just alone time with him.
