| i was talking to my mom this morning and she said that Tri-Sprintec 28 day regimen birth control pill wasn't actually birth control. i was put on birth control to help with my period but i have had sex a few times since i've been put on it. but i was just wondering is my mom just telling me that it isn't actually birth control so i don't have sex or is it not really a birth control. please help me on this. thank you oh so much.even though my question is not over...that just made my day. : ) i'm so freaking happy that it is actually birth control. : ) haha. thank you all so much.

| lol yes i think your mom is just trying to keep you away from the sex for now..Tri-Sprintec 28 actually is a birth control pill but you have to remember that even though its birth control its not 100% guarantee to prevent pregnancy im using Junel right now and have had a few moments where i would have had sex too but the one thing that keeps me back from it is that its not 100% guaranteed so i guess i'll just wait til the time when i dont have parents to contradict and flip out if im not married to my bf and get preg. but you should take a pregnancy test just in case to make sure nothing is up =) there about 10 dollars for a pack of 3 at your local drug store..hope this helps ![]()

| Ok, tried a google search. Best I can tell is has 2 hormones, a progestin and an estrogen; which means it's the real deal. All hormonal birth control uses either both or one of those two hormones, the main difference is how they get them into your body. www.healthsquare.com www.healthsquare.com
