Default Is getting super hot in your sleep a pregnancy symptom?

So, I have my central air on about 65 every night, and that is about normal, maybe a little less than normal for me. The past 3 or so nights, I have been waking up thinking my hubby is turning off the air because I am soooo hot!!! I go to the bathroom, check the air, and it is still on, and cold. I have been having a few other things, but am only about 5 dpo according to this online chart. That is not the only symptom I am having, I know you need more than that (duh) I am simply asking if this one specific symptom has anything to do with it.Ok my cycle is 28 days, the online tracker says as of now I am 5 dpo... but when I used the fertility monitor, I started ovulating only a couple days after my period (that lasted about 4-5 days.)This is so confusing to me lol!

You could just be having hot flashes.Getting really hot during pregnancy does occur, but not usually until the second and third trimester. And you need to have more than just that for a symptom to be pregnant.

I have that. I'm sure it's normal! I just can't ever cool down now. It only gets worse too.

If you are only 5dpo it is too early to have symptoms of pregnancy. Chances are if you are pregnant implantation hasn't occurred. Some women will experience hot flashes, but not that soon. Reading what you said about ovulation, you generally are fertile for about 5-7 days, but the first days you were not ovulating, you were fertile. A woman is generally fertile 3-4 days before ovulation since sperm can live inside your body for 3-4 days, as well as the day after ovulation since the egg can survive for 24 hours after it is released.

I have experienced this symptom with all 3 of my pregnancies. But that does not mean you are pregnant. If you are overdue for your period just take an over the counter test. They are very accurate once you miss your period. The heat flashes at night can also be a pre-menopausal symptom. You may want to contact a doctor to discuss if you are not pregnant and it continues.

That didn't happen w/ me that early but i know how u feel ...I'm almost 9weeks pregnant and i have hot flashes all the time....n they are annoying lol ...n i asked my doc about this because i thought i was getting sick and he said its normal in early pregnancy, it just really depends on the person n how your body is reacting to the hormones...

Many women have this during pregnancy- I did, and it is probably caused by all the hormones that your body makes during pregnancy. Do things like keeping a fan on at night to keep you comfy, and hopefully things will work out! If you arent pregnant, you could be getting ready to start your cycle, maybe just late, and that is also a great time for those hot, sweaty nights! I know i sweat really bad at night during my monthly "cycle" lol. I do know that many women sweat at night during pregnancy. It is all those hormones! Good luck!!
