So I'm 13 and today my mom took me to the doctors to figure out some problems with my irregular period. My doctor prescribed me with TriNessa to make me regular and I was reading the packaging when I got home.I noticed it said "This product (like all oral contraceptives) is intended to prevent pregnancy. It does not protect against HIV... etc.":I'm not saying I want to switch but I was wondering if they'd really prescribe me with actual birth control. I thought it'd just be a low dose to regulate me. I guess not...???Help me out please, I'm totally confused.

)So in other words, I can basically do whatever I want and not get pregnant?
