Um.. Isabella is an Italian name, an Italian version of Elizabeth. Therefore, I don't think it's "too Mexican"You are her parents.. who cares what anyone else thinks? I fyou like it then too bad, they'll get over it and love the baby anyway.

Its really cute! And if anyone says anything, a) Remember that its your baby, and your husband's, not theirs. You're the ones who will be raising this child for the next 18 years.andb) You can always make an excuse, saying you're naming her after Bella (Isabella) Swan from the Twillight series, who isn't Mexican, so they can't assume it's "too Mexican."

Isabella is a great name, if you are looking forward to making the name not sound so "mexican" then try Isabel for instance.

Isabella is a really pretty name. If you want to change it so your family is happy, then you could change it to Belle or Bella.
