Im having twin girls (due in 3 weeks) and up until now i was going to name them Nicola and Natasha. Nicola is being named after one of my really really good friends and Natasha, just because we like the name.However my best friend passed away a year ago, her name was Jenni and so i was thinking of whether it would be a better idea to name them both after friends and have their names as Nicola and Jenni.What do you think?purplerose - i love the suggestion about Jennae but my other daughters name i Deanna Janae so they are too similar

Well, since their twins, I think that you should keep Nicola and Natasha. Maybe you can use Jenni as middle name. Nicola Jenni [Jennifer]

they are soo cute together!i love those names.otherwise, do jeni and something else that starts with a j, like julia.its really cute when twins have the same first letter.you can use nicola as a middle nameor other way around- with jenni as a middle name

Maybe make Jenni a middle name? Natasha Jenni sounds really sweet. I would stick with Nicola and Natasha, they are really cute names that pair well together.:-)

sorry i don't like the name choices. it's nice that you are trying to dedicate the name. but you should use it as a middle name or some thing not as a first. i have two friends named Anna and Molly. Maybe Molly Lee and Jenni Rae good luck and god bless you and your girls. sorry for your loss.

i personally dont like it when twins have names both starting with the same letter, they are twins they look alike and probably will be dressed alike so i think they should have different names and i think it would be nice have your children named after a friend who passed away
