i have babysat and taken care of my nieces and nephews for a long time and i think i ready to have a baby but iv never had sex and i know im not ready for sex but im sure i could handle a baby and i want one.but my bf of 8 months said we could have a baby if we got engaged but he wants to have sex before we get engaged.but im not ready for that, but i am ready for a baby...a little advise please....and any idea why im 19 and still not ready for sex?

People are ready at different times. You aren't ready for a baby if you aren't ready to have sex though. You can't have one without the other, excluding adopting which I'm sure you aren't wanting to do just yet. Also babysitting is A LOT different to having your own baby, it doesn't come close to an accurate representation of what having a baby is like.
