A marriage is the union between a man and a woman. I know there is gay marriage. I know there is human to animal marriage. Before you jump down my throat, I am not comparing the marriage of a gay couple to the marriage of a human and a beast, BUT that is not what the sanctity of marriage was intended for. It was intended for two people, in love, of opposite sexes. There are plenty of straight people who should not be getting married either. The word "divorce" gives people an easy way out, and a lot of people don't take their vows seriously. As far as religious people claiming that gay sex is an abomination...it is. It is not the duty of religious people to judge others, but they are not going to sit by and just let things happen either. They are doing the right thing for standing up for what they believe, just like you are standing up for gay marriage, because you believe it should be ok.
