I know everyone is telling you to leave her in bassinet or crib or chair or swing... but if she's anything like my baby boy (almost 3 months old) she wants to be held when tired until she sleeps for her nap. I have a Snugli by Evenflo:
http://www.evenflo.com/Homepage/Prod...37105d7f03ecin which I put him, holding him in front of me. It's pretty secure, I can bend, clean with the swiffer, put the dishes away, make me a sandwich or salad... but I try not to cook with him in it because I am scared some hot juices might get sprayed on him. One thing that is doable but hard, is folding laundry. Patience is the key.The way he swings as I do my work makes him even more drowsy, and gets him to fall asleep faster. He shoves his little face under my neck for warmth and darkness. 5 to 15 minutes after, I slowly take him out and lay him in his crib, ASLEEP! yey!The wrap I haven't tried yet. I've been told it's good for when you hold her for a long period, because you have a lot of wrapping to do. It makes me wonder how hard it might be to put her down once sleeping, where the Snugli clips off gently and quickly. I hope I helped!
